Meet Kathy "KC" Colvin Owner - Creative Assistant
They say "Do what you enjoy", and for me, this is it!
About me? I'm sure my kids have got some stories they'd like to share, but they're not here at the moment, so I'll fill you in...
After years in the corporate world, one day I decided to take my talents on the road. You see, I have a wild and vivid imagination and I just knew that I could do more for people by working for myself. I'm a "helper" by nature, and truly enjoy meeting and working with folks on a one-to-one basis, and assisting them with all types of advertising. Besides, the world-wide web had opened up a whole new way to work from a remote location and assist people all around the country, just as if I was in the next room. So with my trusty computer and all the necessary programs on hand, I set out to "assist virtually".
Well, they say "Necessity is the Mother of Invention". In fact, Bartleby.com describes it as "A need or problem which encourages creative efforts to meet the need or solve the problem." Heck, I'm creative! My imagination is always in the fast lane! I can do this! So began Creative-Assistant.com ... a little known career of being
a "Virtual Assistant".
To date, I've helped many companies with their overload work such as document preparation, PowerPoint presentations, creating ads and flyers, web design and my special feature Wedding Invitations with "Albums To Go". Deadlines? No problem! Since I work from my home office, I can accomplish most any task in the timeframe needed.
Well, life is good. I'm doing what I love to do and helping people at the same time. Being able to work at any hour of the day also gives me time to enjoy some of my favorite pasttimes. My family and God are number one, of course. But I love helping people and I love learning. I'm always soaking up all the never-ending, latest technology like a sponge, and I share it with others in my blog. I've coined the phrase "IntelliBerries... fruit for the mind", because I'm a firm believer that "Knowledge is Power" and ANYONE can do ANYTHING that they set their mind to do, as long as they know "how".
Now, please forgive me if I get a little goofy at times. I call everyone "dude", I love to joke around and get a little crazy at times. I'm a proud Mom of two kids in their 20's, and even a Gramma. I enjoy my family, I enjoy what I do, and I enjoy life... isn't that what it's all about? So, good luck, be blessed and always try to live "tomorrow's life... TODAY!

Meet Kalie... my 3 year old Office
Assistant (yes, even an assistant needs an assistant). Kalie is the
REAL brains behind this operation. She's on top of each and every one of my jobs
(literally), and always a great inspiration. If it weren't for Kalie, it would
get awfully lonely around here.
